BBj Plug-ins are designed for the BBj developer who wants to add feature-rich components and controls to his BBj project. In contrast to the Utilities and Building Blocks that are shipped with BBj, Plug-ins are most often Open Source, are maintained independently from the BBj release cycle, and can hence in most cases be kept up to date independent from the BBj version installed.
